Time: 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Location: DJGHS gym

Girls Basketball Summer Workouts

June 15, 2026 – July 30, 2026
Mondays – Thursdays

Times:

• Mondays - 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. 
• Tuesdays - Thursdays: 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Location: DJGHS Gym

Participants, please bring basketball shoes and water each day.
 

Cross Country Summer Training Information

The key to success in Cross Country is summer training. Our goal is to safely build mileage and improve aerobic fitness so we are prepared for the fall season. Consistency over the summer gives us the best opportunity for success.

Team Summer Goals

• Run consistently: 5–6 days per week
• Returning runners: Follow the summer workout schedule and be prepared for tryouts
• New runners: Follow the new runner schedule and build up to 5–6 days per week
• Veterans: Complete one long run each week (6–12 miles), about 25–30% of weekly mileage
• Train with teammates whenever possible

Summer Running Tips

• Run early in the morning or at dusk
• Avoid running during the hottest part of the day
• Stay hydrated and recover properly
• Consistency is more important than speed

Tryouts

Two time trials will be held during the summer (dates TBD).

Important Information

• Athletic packet on AKTIVATE must be completed before the first day of tryouts.

Girls Flag Football Summer Workouts
June 3, 2026 - July 23, 2026
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

Time: 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Location: DJGHS Stadium

Freshmen Football Camp

June 15, 2026 - July 23, 2026
Monday – Thursday

Time: 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Location: DJGHS

$500 per player due by June 12th, registration fee includes dues for the 2026 Football season. Payment can be made with cash, check made out to DJGHS or credit card using SchoolCash Online 

Prior to participation all athletes must have a current athletic packet completed and upload to Aktivate. Please bring sneakers and cleats.

Summer Weight Training and Conditioning

Players entering Grades 10 -12 begin Summer Weight Training and Conditioning on:
