Drama Program
The drama program at Dr. Garcia High School is inclusive and highly competitive. Whether there is an interest in design and tech or performing on stage, there is something for everyone. Students involved may take classes, participate in district and state level competitions, as well as participate in the after-school theatre program. Training is comprehensive in nature and offers opportunities for students to serve in leadership roles as part of a student-led theatre company. Over the course of a student's four year journey, they will develop performance skills and a portfolio of work that will serve them in any wlak of life as well as prepare them for professional theatre training programs at the collegiate level.
Please see “Special Note” under each description for prerequisite information and special placement considerations.
