AICE Diploma Requirements

To earn the AICE Diploma, students must achieve a total of seven AICE credits from a combination of AS and A Level examinations. These seven credits must include:

  1. AICE Global Perspectives & Research (AS Level): This course is mandatory and must be passed to earn the diploma. (1 credit)
  2. One AS or A Level course from each of the following three curriculum groups:
    • Group 1: Mathematics and Sciences
    • Group 2: Languages
    • Group 3: Arts and Humanities
  3. A minimum of three additional credits from any of the three curriculum groups or the optional Group 4 (Interdisciplinary and Skills-Based Subjects).

Important Notes:

  • An AS Level examination earns one AICE credit.
  • A full A Level examination earns two AICE credits. Please note, if a student earns AS credit and passes the A level, they can only get one additional credit.
    • If a student sits for only A level course and passes the AICE exam, they can earn up to two credits toward the Diploma.
